Anti-Soviet resistance in Lithuania in the 1950s and 1960s

Conditions for the unarmed anti-Soviet resistance in Lithuania appeared in the early 1950s. With the weakening of the almost ten-year-long partisan fight for freedom (1944-1953) it was necessary to look for new forms of resistance. The peaceful resistance became the right form. Between 1954 and 1960, there were 108 organizations and groups with total membership of 700.
